Infinite House of Praise Church
"Our History"

Infinite House of Praise began as a bible study in the home of Dr. R.L. Williams, Sr. and his wife, Lady Andrea Williams, located in the city of Cedar Hill, TX. They officially opened the doors of their home on March 6, 2008 with only a hand full of friends and family, who shared one common interest- to study and learn more about God's word. After several months passed, the bible study grew into a small Thursday Night Church Service, where each service consisted of a nightly service conductor, praise and worship service, testimonial service, a consistent Word from the Lord, and less we forget; every service began with fellowship and a hot cooked meal made by the women of the house, just to ensure that everyone who "came hungry would leave happy".

As the Bible Study continued to grow in commitment and faithfulness from those who would attend, the Lord began speaking the vision to Dr. Williams by placing the name "Infinite House of Praise" into his spirit. It would become almost a year later before the doors would actually open. But what was confirmed on that day is that wherever and whenever the church would be established it would be a house of "Never Ending Praise."

At the end of 2009 Dr. Williams moved in faith and purchased 100 cushion back chairs stacked them in storage and expected to soon hear from the Lord as to where this Church would be planted. He journeyed into the Mansfield and the South Arlington area believing that God would place the ministry there, however nothing seemed to happen. After multiple disappointments and the new chairs stacked away with no new building to move them to, they continued to worship in their home, and upgraded by sitting in those comfortable new cushioned back chairs.

After Dr. Williams became content to wait on God for more direction, an available building was mentioned to him located in the South Central Arlington Area. He visited and discovered that a previous ministry had occupied it, and left all of the furnishings you could possibly imagine inside. Although, finances were very limited, a negotiated rental amount was agreed upon and we were able to walk into a fully furnished church, instantly acquiring all of the necessary furnishing needed by negotiating for all of the contents inside.

Our first official Sunday Morning service was held on June 13, 2010 with only 13 Charter Members and has grown to astonishing number of members to the IHOP family, where we all stand committed and "Focused for the Future".
